- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★One of the last true credit unions out there. They don't charge you for doing business with them like banks and even some other "credit unions" have started to do (I'm looking at you South Carolina State Credit Union). Even if you accidentally overdraft your account they only charge you $2.00 and open up a line of credit that you pay back all at once or over time! (You have to set this up first, but its free!!) At SCSCU they would charge me $30 just to transfer the money from my savings account!! Oh and they have a free coin counter for members! That was the reason I got the account in the first place. I stayed once I realized that banking there was awesome!!By Justin Lingle, April 15, 2017
