  I pulled up google to find out the hours. I must have seen the hours for the other St. Andrews location because I saw the hours as 10am to 2pm. I get there at 11:10am (specifically took lunch to run to the post office because I needed something to go out today). I got there and was told by what looked like a random person as he was in regular street clothes that the post office was closed. I told him that the website said 10-2. They said that's for another location. So I asked if they could please help me out, I was at work and needed to get this package out. Employee in street clothes tells me the other location is on the other side. I explain I'm not from around here and don't know where that is, again, I'm on my lunch. Someone from behind the counter yells over that it would have to be made by the supervisor, however, no supervisor comes out or talks to me. The street clothed employee then says "you have GPS don't you?" I just looked at him wondering if he was for real. The two locations are less than a mile apart. This mistake could have happened to anyone. I was in a situation where I needed to be in and out and didn't have the option to go to another location. I understand that the location was closed but staff was still serving customers at the counter, it would have taken an extra 3 minutes to assist me. Instead, the people at the counter ignored me and someone in street clothes made me feel as though there was nothing they could do to assist me in that situation. Even just having a supervisor come out and speak to me would have been more than appreciated.

  I've been inside this post office a few times, it's always quick and the people are relatively nice. BUT! I'm having consistent issues with packages. They never deliver my packages anymore. I check tracking consistently and My roommates don't work so Someome is always home. It always say that an attempt to deliver was made and I may find notice of attempted delivery. I HAVE NEVER gotten a notice that they "attempted" delivery, because they don't. My roomies have watched them. I have to continuously wait for a day off from work to go pick up packages that I usually pay for overnight or one day shipping on. None of my packages EVER require signatures. They don't leave them at the door, they don't even try. It's very frustrating as a military wife whose husband is deployed as I'm constantly missing packages he sends me or my amazon prime packages are late and I have to re package them and send to him in another country. I pay for prime shipping, and I always get my stuff late. I've called amazon and they've told me it's a USPS problem and they can't do anything. Beware, you might as well not order packages online, especially if your like me and work every day during their business hours. If you live in Irmo and try to order stuff frequently, you'll fail miserably. I hope they get some new delivery people soon and work this out. Again, the people INSIDE the post office are GREAT, but their mail people are worthless.
